Of Mice and Men (so let's people talk... but if you talk the talk then walk the walk or shame on you!)
Whom who abandon the ship before the last sailor or the last passenger have gotten off, they are violating forever a code that is nothing more than an oath of allegiance. It's a question of honour and so it is not negotiable. There are no excuses for that. No way.
“...you have declared the “abandon ship!”, what do you wanna do, it's dark and so you want to go home? Listen, Schettino, maybe you saved yourself from the sea but I 'll make you pay for sure, get on board, damn it!"-Gregorio De Falco
“For scientific discovery, give me Scott; for speed and efficiency of travel, give me Amundsen; but when you are in a hopeless situation, when you are seeing no way out, get down on your knees and pray for Shackleton” -Raymond Priestley
“Difficulties are just things to overcome, after all.”-Ernest Henry Shackleton
"Wanted: men for hazardous journey; low wages, intense cold, long months of darkness and constant risks, return not certain." Ernest Henry Shackleton - insertion in a London newspaper
(But they would have all come back, and they were not on a luxury liner cruise!)
I know for sure that in these merciless days, full of the cowardice of men, the great Captain Ernest Henry Shackleton is now turning in his grave, for just 97 years ago, his ship “Endurance” became frozen in an ice floe. After a year and 7 months, through a dangerous series of dramatic adventures, the great captain, at his 4th desperate try, will be finally able to save all his crew. All his crew.
But times are changing...so this is what really happens everyday...
In this very instant when Captains are leaving sinking ships, I want to remember and say thanks to the good fellows of my life, for they had never abandoned me, even when I was sinking deep...thank you all!Love you!

New Year’s resolutions:I'm 99%
Happiness is not a state you acquire by luck. We are all vases made of flesh and blood and we are all full of desires. We are inevitably influenced by closer vases and if these are not filling up our desires, we end up just like Don Abbondio did, earthenware vase among iron vases. So remember, in this beautiful life above you is only G-d, but right after there's only LOVE, then comes your family and last, your job. And if you'll find someone on your way, who will arbitrarily overturn this order, then run away, for that one won't fill up your desires but will just dry them up, making you stark for a very long time:those ones are zombies, people with no free desires, whom who has only a selfish nature of reception. I'm 99%, don't want any dark 1% in my bright life, would you?
